WINES
Adam Collins is the man behind Saddle Goose. This small négociant are making some of the most surprisingly fantastic Bacchus in town. Sustainability is everything at Saddle Goose and Adam is constantly working with his grower to ensure his high standards are being met. His Bacchus has the texture of top Sancerre and the aromatics of a refined Kiwi Sauvignon, whilst his Pinot is a great, hedonistic rosé fizz. All the grapes are currently sourced from just outside Canterbury from flinty, chalky soils. All wines are vegan and suitable for BTG.
5% of all Saddle Goose profits go to the British Waterfowl Association.
“Saddle Goose is an old 19th century term that was used to define someone as a fool. When our winemaker Adam was making wine in other more famous wine regions, people would question whether the UK could even grow grapes. Along the road there have been many who thought we were foolish to make more natural styles of English wine.”
